Most software gets built from a requirements document. WaterApp was designed around a delivery route that our founder, Gourav Garhwal, walks himself.
Gourav runs a water jar and RO delivery business in Chhindwara. Before it became a commercial product, WaterApp solved his own operational problems: keeping track of which customer had how many jars out, who had paid, and which staff member delivered where.
Once the core features — customer records, delivery logging, and monthly billing — worked reliably for his own business, we realized other water delivery businesses were facing the exact same problems. What started as an internal tool became a product on the Google Play Store, alongside a staff app that gives delivery employees access to the same real-time data.
This origin story matters to how we build. Because Gourav still runs the water business personally, feature requests stay grounded in reality instead of theory. Changes to route logging or billing documents get tested on real delivery routes before they ever reach another customer.
If you run a water delivery business and something about WaterApp doesn't fit how you actually work, we want to hear about it — that kind of feedback is exactly how the product gets better.
